Pesticide residues in Longan from Vietnam

Summary
Pesticide residues have been found in some imported longan fruits from Vietnam. The levels of certain pesticides, including acetamiprid and imidaclopride, exceed EU permitted limits, while others like lambda-cyhalothrin are above the maximum allowed limit. Spirodiclofen, a pesticide not approved for use on longans, was also detected in some samples.
A RASFF notification means that a risk was identified and shared between national authorities. It does not necessarily mean the product was sold in every country — check the distribution list and the measures taken.
