What is the risk?

• The product is not adequately designed to be safe for use during the recommended service life of 20 years in all situation of maintenance. If the closing mechanism has not been properly locked with the body during the maintenance, when the fire extinguisher is activated, its head may become separated from the body and projected into the air, causing injuries to a user and/or bystanders. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive.
