Summary
The BF “Torch” rechargeable flashlight (model JY‑1126) lacks a battery temperature monitoring device, which can cause it to overheat and cause burns. It does not meet the EU General Product Safety Regulation or the EN 62133‑2 standard, and authorities have ordered its withdrawal from the market, effective 2 March 2026. The alert was issued by Hungary and the torch originates from China.
