Summary
Green tea from Azerbaijan may contain pesticide residues above EU permitted levels. The detected pesticides are chlorpyrifos, lambda-cyhalothrin, dinotefuran, and tolfenpyrad. The product has not yet been sold in the EU, but a consignment was detained at the border by Polish authorities.
A RASFF notification means that a risk was identified and shared between national authorities. It does not necessarily mean the product was sold in every country — check the distribution list and the measures taken.
