- Via ferrata sets with a shock absorber and two carabiners connected with elastic straps. The sets are marine blue in colour, and the carabiners have orange clasps. The sets are also available as part of a package, which includes a helmet and harness.

- Via ferrata sets should absorb the impact of a fall while climbing whilst ensuring that the climber remains securely attached to the rope for the duration of the climbing activity. It has been identified that the plastic component of the locking mechanism on the carabiner may bend, especially when exposed to cooler temperatures. This could lead to the automatic locking function becoming impaired and potentially cause the climber to detach from the safety line and fall from a height.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment.
- Corrective action
- The product has been recalled from end users.

- Mammut are now undertaking further corrective action and recommending that consumers undertake a precautionary inspection and return any affected Mammut Skywalker Pro and Skywalker Pro Turn Via Ferrata Sets.
