- Two variations of aluminium shovels with orange handles, one with a black finish and one with a silver finish. Designed for digging out avalanche victims. The product name and production lot number are printed on shovel shaft near the handle.

- The spring locking mechanism on the shovels can fail in an emergency excavation of a person buried by an avalanche. This is due to the pin joint that connects the shovel shaft to the shovel blade not being positioned correctly in every case, which can cause the shovel blade to detach from the shaft. This therefore poses a risk of injury or death for the buried person.
- The affected batches of the products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
