- null The polyamide webbing of the elasticated webbing branches could be partially destroyed by the mechanical action of deposited dirt particles and be weakened as a result. Under normal conditions of use (without falling), the webbing stretches, then retracts back to shape. It is thought that this could provoke the above-mentioned mechanical action, which is not immediately obvious to the user.
