Summary
A tea product originating in China and dispatched from the UK was found to contain cetrimonium chloride at 0.066 mg/kg, exceeding the EU limit of 0.01 mg/kg for this industrial contaminant. The consignment was detained during border control, and no distribution has occurred from the notifying country. Malta reported the finding and classified the risk as potential.
