Summary
Some packets of spicy puffed rice from China may contain genetically modified ingredients not approved in the EU. The presence of an unauthorised genetically modified substance, called Terminatore NOS, was detected in a sample. No products containing this ingredient have been distributed to other EU countries.
A RASFF notification means that a risk was identified and shared between national authorities. It does not necessarily mean the product was sold in every country — check the distribution list and the measures taken.
