What is the risk?
- The pendant of the product releases an excessive amount of nickel (measured value: 5.4 µg/cm2/week) and the product contains an excessive amount of lead (measured value up to: 0.18 % by weight). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
