- The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 70.5% by weight).Lead poses a risk to the environment.The plastic material of the product has excessive concentrations of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured values: 4.7% and 2.5% by weight, respectively).This phthalate may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system.SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bio-accumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment.
