- The migration of lead from the surface material is too high (measured value: 0.7 mg/kg). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, and can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed children.Moreover, the plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP), (measured values: 26.4% by weight).These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system and liver.Additionally, the plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured values: 20.6% and 11.2% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation nor with the European standards EN 18219-1, EN 18219-2 and EN 14389.
