Summary
Certain Knaus camper vans have a defective weld on the ISOFIX bar, which may break in an accident and increase the risk of injury to children in child seats attached to it. This defect makes the vehicles non-compliant with EU safety regulations for motor vehicles. The manufacturer will recall these camper vans from end users starting July 28, 2026.

What is the risk?
- A defective weld on the ISOFIX bar may break in the event of an accident and increase the risk of injury to children in the child seat attached to it. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
