- Quorn Food is recalling three variants of its Quorn Bites products (Sweet Chilli, Korma, and Garlic & Herb) because they contain mustard and milk which are not mentioned on the label. As a result of a packaging error some packs have been packaged incorrectly across the three variants. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and / or an allergy to mustard.
- Quorn Sweet Chilli Bites (180g) — Use by: between 11 – 21 February 2022
- Quorn Korma Bites (180g) — Use by: between 11-21 February 2022
- Quorn Garlic & Herb Bites (180g) — Use by: between 11- 21 February 2022
What to do
- Quorn Foods is recalling the above products from customers and been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
- If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and / or an allergy to mustard do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
