There is no evidence to demonstrate that the product has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures, and no valid documentation was supplied. There is a lack of labelling, marking and warnings, and the product was supplied with a plug that is not earthed nor compliant with the relevant standard, BS 1363.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
