- The product presents a risk of fire as it is insufficiently earthed and was not fitted with a compliant fuse. Under fault conditions, this could lead the plug to overheat, explode, and ignite, causing a fire and the consumer to experience burns. The product’s external and internal build quality was also insufficient. The product also requires improvements to labelling, warnings and documentation.
