- The product presents a serious risk of injuries due to issues with the external build of the product. Firstly, the non-approved pressure release valve’s vent faces up, possibly into the operator’s face, causing air or atomized grease to be thrown into the user’s face. This presents a hazard of injury.
- The release pipe is also directly above the on/off switch so if any moisture condensates it will fall onto the non-approved switch/resettable fuse. If the cover comes away moisture ingress could cause the hazards of unexpected starting which may cause serious injuries to the user.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
