- The product presents a high risk of fire and burns as poor internal and external construction can lead the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) to become damaged over time, which can produce a spark and ignite, causing a fire and
- burns. The product’s fuse was insufficient, and had a separate wire soldered to the outside of the fuse to increase its carrying capacity, increasing the risk of a fire under fault conditions. The product also required improvements to
- marking, labelling and documentation.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
