The distance between the outer edge of the plug and the live pin is insufficient, and the earth and live pins are too short. As a result, the plug may not connect securely to a socket, potentially exposing live parts to the user. The plug also does not have the facilities for a fuse, which is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Improvements are also required to the product packaging and accompanying documentation.
