Over time this damages the cable and generates heat, potentially leading to a fire. Additionally, the mains plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. Improvements are also required to the documentation and markings.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
