- The product presents a high risk of choking as the small magnetic balls would be regarded as capable of causing a choking hazard for a child under 3 years of age. - The small magnetic balls were found to be small enough to fit completely into a small parts cylinder and as such, would be regarded as capable of causing a choking hazard for a child under 3 years of age.
- Thirty-two of the magnetic balls sampled were tested and found to have a magnetic flux index in excess of 50 kG2mm2, with an average flux of 169.4kG2mm2.
- If two or more magnets are swallowed, there is a risk that the magnets become drawn to each other in the digestive system, which could cause severe injury or death if rapid medical attention is not sought.
