- The product presents a serious risk of fire because it is supplied with a two-pin plug which cannot meet the requirements of BS 1363. The plug has no fuse, which could lead to the plug overheating and catching fire in the event of a fault. Improvements are also required to the products markings, warnings and instructions, and a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
