- The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the plug face does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection with the socket. This could lead to the user touching a live part and receiving an electric shock. In addition, the product has poor quality soldering with wires soldered directly to the PCB.
- Improvements are also required to the product labelling, marking and instructions.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994 or the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
