- An Open area Smoke Imaging Detection Unit (OSID) for protecting large, open areas. The above images show the labelling found on the right side of the unit after removing the cover.

- It has been identified that a small number of affected detectors have failed and did not notify the fire panel of their failure. This may result in a fire being undetected, which may lead to users being trapped in a fire or receiving burns.
- The affected detectors do not meet the requirements of the Construction Products Regulations 2013.
- Corrective action
- The affected products have been recalled from end users.
- All 57 affected detectors are traceable through installers/customers and can be identified by a combination of the models and the production date codes.
