- It has been identified that the harness padding on the affected Thule RideAlong bike seats can contain flame-retardant DecaBDE in excess of specified limits, posing a chemical hazard. DecaBDE can be toxic if it is ingested or comes into contact with skin or eyes.

- The affected products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 or the Persistent Organic Pollutants Regulations 2007/3106.
