- Multiple models of Specialized e-bikes purchased between 2019 and 2024. If the e-bike has a rear derailleur, it is not a gear hub equipped e-bike and is not affected by the recall.

- The product presents a risk of injuries as loose clothing may become entrapped in the drivetrain. If this occurs during use, the rider could fall and receive injuries.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
- Corrective action
- The product has been recalled from end users.
- Owners of Specialized e-bikes should check if their e-bike is affected by using the images and product list provided on the Specialized website at: https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/27-march-2025-safety-notice
- Specialized and authorised retailers have contacted known/registered owners via email/mail. Riders using the Specialized app will receive a recall notification when the app is opened and the bike is paired and switched on.
- If your bike is affected, make a service appointment with your nearest Authorised Specialized retailer. They will inspect your bike and fit an updated chain guard at no cost.
