- The product presents a serious chemical risk as it contains butylphenyl methylpropional (BMHCA/lilial), which is prohibited in cosmetic products. BMHCA may harm the reproductive system, may harm the health of the unborn child, and may cause skin sensitisation.
- The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
- Corrective action
- The products have been recalled from end users by the manufacturer. Affected products have been withdrawn from sale by Farmfoods.
- Owners of any of the affected products should stop using it immediately and return the product to the seller they purchased from for a full refund.
