- The affected products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that during a specification change, an incorrect brake rotor was fitted to the bicycles. In addition to the specification change, a 1mm spacer was added to the brake caliper, which causes the brake pads to sit slightly high on the rotor. As a result, the brakes may not function properly, potentially leading to the user falling or injuring themselves.
- The affected bicycles do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
- Corrective action
- The affected products have been recalled from end users.
- Affected consumers are advised to contact their place of purchase to receive a replacement 180mm front brake rotor and have a new brake adaptor and appropriate mount installed. A 160mm rear brake rotor will also be supplied to brand match front and rear.
