- Green and brown hiking boots. Boots manufactured after 1st April 2022 are not subject to recall.

- The recalled Men’s Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Boots, Item Code 61382, were manufactured in three colour options: Black/Black (0971), Raw green/Pale frog (5322), and Walnut/Fluo orange (7512).
- The recalled Women’s Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Boots, Item Code 61383, were manufactured in two colour options: Black/Black (0971), and Duck green/Rhododendron (5085).
- Recalled AT2 boots can be identified by the production date on the inside of the tongue label of the boot. The production date on the label begins with ‘FS’. The first number on the label is the last number of the year of production and the second number designates the month of production. E.g. FS 2-01 designates a production date of January 2022.
- All AT2 Boots with the following production dates are subject to recall: FS 0-XX, FS 1-xx, FS 2-01, FS 2-02, FS 2-03, and FS 2-04 (only for Men’s Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Boots 61382 in Black/Black 0971). Production dates starting with FS 2-04 and later are not subject to recall.
- Hazard
- The product presents a risk of injuries as it is possible for the lace from one boot to catch on the clasp of the other when in use.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
- Corrective action
- The product has been recalled from end users, which commenced on 30th April 2022. Owners are advised to stop using the product immediately and return them to Salewa for a replacement.
