Product description
Single phase isolation switch rated at 100 Amps intended for isolation between the electricity meter of a dwelling and the main consumer unit or fuse box within that dwelling. Specifically used in the metering industry and installed by trained engineers

Hazard
The fault was identified during routine installation process which includes a test. It was found that the switch did not isolate the circuit.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
Withdrawal from sale and recall of affected batches by the manufacturer. Recall of the product by the end user, E.ON.
All customers in possession of the affected product have already been contacted by E-On and all affected products inspected. All corrective measures have taken place and no further action is required.
