- The product presents a risk of choking as small parts (the bells on the rattle) can be easily detached when the product is used. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, with the small part able to block a child’s airways.
- The black and white ribbon on the wooden ring was also measured at 500mm, greater than the maximum permissible of 300mm, thereby presenting a strangulation hazard. The product also requires improvements to labelling and documentation.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
