- The intermittent fault could have serious safety implications if the product is used to prove circuits are dead, and lead to electric shocks.
- This product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
- Corrective action
- The product has been recalled from end users.
- Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the unit if the serial number falls within the affected range. Units with S/No 321xxxxxxx and higher are not subject to recall. Contact Martindale Electric support for advice on 01923 441717.
