- The product presents a risk of electric shock as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard. The user could access live pins when unplugging, or plugging in, the plug from the socket. Live parts are also accessible due to poor external build quality exposing bare conductors, and the minimum creepage and clearance distances were not present.
- The product also presents a risk of fire as it was inadequately earthed, with a counterfeit fuse that could not provide the required protection under fault conditions. The battery also does not meet the capacity requirements of the relevant standard.
