The equipment does not meet the expected mechanical requirements to ensure persons, domestic animals and property are not endangered as no cord anchorage was fitted. The mains plug also did not meet the marking and dimensional requirements and the mains plug was not fitted with a fuse link which conforms to BS 1362.
