- The product presents a high risk of choking as the black plastic eyes can detach or break off during reasonably foreseeable use, creating small parts that fit entirely within a small parts cylinder. These small parts pose a choking risk to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths.
- The product also contains easily accessible batteries. If a child accesses the batteries and places them in the mouth, the batteries may cause internal burns and injuries. Improvements are also required to product labelling and markings.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
