Reason for the recall

The product presents a high risk of choking as it’s reasonably foreseeable that a child could confuse the magnets with the Allsorts sweets it was designed to imitate. If two or more magnets were swallowed, there is a risk that the magnets become drawn to each other in the digestive system, which could cause serious injury or death.

Hazard
A child could confuse the magnets with the Allsorts sweets it was designed to imitate.
The product is capable of fitting into a small parts cylinder causing a choking hazard exists for a child under 3yrs of age.
If two or more magnets were swallowed, there is a risk that the magnets become drawn to each other in the digestive system, which could cause serious injury or death if medical attention is not sought immediately.
The product does not meet the requirements of Food Imitations (Safety) Regulations 1989.
Corrective action
The product has been voluntarily withdrawn from the market and recalled from end users.
The listing has also been removed by the online marketplace (Etsy).
