- C&K Meats is recalling Country Style Pork Sausages and Sage & Caramelised Red Onion Pork Sausages because they contain undeclared sulphur dioxide which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites. The products are sold in Asda stores only.

- C&K Meats Sage & Caramelised Red Onion Pork Sausages (400g) — Use by: All dates up to and including 23 March 2018
What to do
- C&K Meats Ltd is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers in Asda stores where the products have been sold. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
- If you have bought either of the above products and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
